This edition of the Atlas will take seven years of preparation and thousands of hours committed by hundreds of volunteers. Your contribution will help ensure the geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin is well documented for generations to come.
This resource will be built using the latest technologies and software. It will have a GIS structure to allow processing, analysis, and distribution of large volumes of data. Your contribution helps us secure the resources required by our volunteers to complete this project.
Moreover, your contribution will help us fund a promotional campaign to raise awareness of the project throughout Canada and the world.

The CSPG Foundation is accepting donations for the ATLAS 2027 project. Any donations made through this portal will be restricted by the Foundation to be used only for the ATLAS project. Individual donations to the CSPG Foundation ATLAS 2027 Fund are eligible for a tax receipt. These receipts will be mailed out to contributors at the end of January each year for the previous year’s donations.
